Google Scholar is similar to the Library's OneSearch tool because it lets you search for scholarly materials from all different disciplines.

It's similar to how you would do a Google search. But instead of searching the whole internet, Google Scholar limits its results to journal articles or other academic materials.

Many of these materials are available in full-text. If you use this link to access Google Scholar, you can also have full-text access to materials that are otherwise only available through the Hostos Library’s subscription databases.

Use your CUNY Login username (firstname.lastname##) and password when prompted to login.

Note that Google Scholar provides access to a lot of other types of materials, too, for example certain books that have been digitized, or book chapters. If you're curious about all the different kinds of things included, you can learn more here.
