If they're asking you online to pay for an article, DON’T!

Hostos Library can get you the article for free, either through our library or through Interlibrary Loan.

To figure out how to get access, follow these steps:

1. Search Google Scholar.

Use this page and click on Google Scholar. Going through this page GS is set up to automatically give you links to resources available for free through the Hostos Library.

2. Search in the E-Journals List for the publication in which the article appeared.

Search for the publication in the Hostos Library Journal Search. NOTE: first you search the title of the journal where the article was published. Then, if you find the publication, you can within it for the article.

3. If we do not have the article online, request it through Interlibrary Loan.

Do not pay for individual articles - you are already paying for access with your Hostos tuition.
