Yes! Follow these steps:

 

  1. Learn more about the Hostos Archives from this guide.
  2. Make an appointment with the Hostos College Archivist, William Casari, by emailing wcasari@hostos.cuny.edu.
  3. Get pre-approval to enter campus.
    • Send an email to campusvisit@hostos.cuny.edu, and cc wcasari@hostos.cuny.edu. (send at least 48 hours in advance).
    • Include in the email:
      • The location for your visit (Hostos Library)
      • The date and time of your appointment (see #2 above)
      • Uploaded image of your full vaccination record (you must be fully vaccinated) or proof of a negative PCR test obtained within 7 days prior to the visit.
  4. Bring with you:

 

The Hostos Library is in the “A” Building—475 Grand Concourse, southwest corner of 149th Street and Grand Concourse. The Library is on the 3rd floor.
