Q. What happens if I sign into my account on the library website?

You don't have to sign into your account, but if you do, you can:

• Read online articles and e-books when you are off-campus;
• Request that books at other CUNY colleges be sent to Hostos Library for you to pick up;
• "Pin" books, articles, and other items that you want to remember and find again easily;
• "Pin" searches and get email notifications when new items that fit that search;
• Request a checked-out book from Hostos Library (the person who borrowed it won't be able to extend their loan); and
• See when my books and other items are due back at the library, and extend the time (unless someone else has requested the item).
